(About)

I sit between the people who need software and the people who build it — turning stakeholder conversations into BRDs, user stories, process flows and wireframes, then testing until it's right.

Selected work

Two products from my analyst work at Community Heritage.
01 PROCUREMENT02 INVENTORY03 FINANCErevisePurchase requestPurchase requestOK?OK?Purchase orderPurchase orderGoods receiptGoods receiptStock updateStock updateInvoiceInvoicePaymentPayment

As a department head, I want to raise a purchase request with quantity, budget line and a justification, so that procurement has everything it needs without a follow-up email.

As an approver, I want to approve a request, or return it with a reason, so that the requester knows exactly what to revise before resubmitting.

As a procurement officer, I want to turn an approved request into a purchase order against a chosen vendor, so that the commitment to spend is on record before anything is ordered.

As a store keeper, I want to record what physically arrived against the purchase order, so that short, excess and damaged deliveries are visible the day they happen.

As an inventory manager, I want to have a goods receipt post to stock on hand automatically, so that the system's figure matches what is actually on the shelf.

As an accounts clerk, I want to match the vendor invoice to its purchase order and goods receipt, so that we only pay for what was ordered and actually received.

As a finance lead, I want to schedule matched invoices for payment against agreed terms, so that vendors are paid on time and nothing is paid twice.

Approach

Five steps I follow on every requirement — the third is where things loop back until the client signs off.
01Step 1 of 5

Discover

Listen before writing a single line

Stakeholder meetings to capture what the business actually needs — then market research to see whether competitors already offer something similar.

  • Stakeholder meetings
  • Market research
  • Questioning & brainstorming
02Step 2 of 5

Document

Turn conversations into specs

BRDs, FRDs and SRS documents, user stories with acceptance criteria, and process flow & UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).

  • BRD / FRD / SRS
  • User stories
  • UML & process flows
03Step 3 of 5

Confirm

Get sign-off that sticks

Requirements go back to the client for confirmation. Deep replaced the post-meeting MoM with a structured email confirmation — faster, trackable sign-offs that are easy to reference.

  • Email confirmation flow
  • Quotations for sales
  • Wireframes
04Step 4 of 5

Deliver

Hand off and keep everyone aligned

Feeding insights into technical discussions, assigning tasks to the team, and coordinating with external vendors and third-party providers.

  • Tech discussions
  • Task assignment
  • Vendor coordination
05Step 5 of 5

Verify

Test it like the user would

UAT for every developed feature, change requests managed, follow-ups and unscheduled escalations handled — with daily updates to 10–15 clients.

  • UAT
  • Change requests
  • Client updates
